On September 21st, the kids at our school took part in the International Day of Peace by participating in Pinwheels for Peace.
Kids participating in a peace movement? Why not? And why not you?

I would say it's better to have kids participating in the peace movement than the war movement. But, maybe that's just me. ;-)
Pinwheels blowing peace messages into the air...it's a good plan.
A really lovely sight - how clever of them! There's a thoughtful teacher behind that class for sure!

Wouldn't it be nice if the whole world could be at peace? It starts with the kids, doesn't it? What they learn now, they'll take with them to adulthood.

I saw lots of pinwheel projects at schools that day. What a lovely post, Songbird.
