Nice slide show...thanks for sharing with lil ole us
You got so many great shots inside the air museum. We have a similar one nearby and I couldn't get any shots worth a darn. Nice going.
My favorite pic from the history museum was the hand shake through the Berlin wall. Very cool.
I need to stop saying "some day" and just go.
Vinny: Now who's being the goofball? ;)
Jeff: Thanks. I shot most of them without flash, too. The flash just killed the shots, in my opinion. It wasn't easy, but because there are lots of catwalks, both high and low, it was easy to get multiple shots of the aircraft.
Trav: Yes, you do! It's well worth the time and expense. Take my advice, though; go in the spring or fall when the weather is mild. Summer is BRUTAL.
your camera is awesome, I need to get a new one. Looks/sounds like it was a great trip Ice. Glad y'all enjoyed it so well!
Thank you for sharing :)
Wonderful! I'd never get my husband out of the hangars. He's a plane nut, especially vintage WWII.
My daughter went to DC for her 8th grade trip. She hated NYC but loved Arlington and the Smithsonian.
Like Travis said, "One day..."
~~~Blessings~~~
p.s. Having fun on FB!
Such an amazing array of flying machines. Just think! And this is the work of those great American talented minds. Let's hear for America!
