What's Beyond Exhaustion?

Is it death?

School is only one month old, and I am tired beyond belief. I'm talking TO. THE. BONE.

And marching band season is just starting to hit its stride. October will be a frakin' nuthouse.

And did I mention that I'm working on a novel, too? With a collaborator who works insane hours and lives 3,000 miles away?

Um...yeah.

My mind is fried. And it's only mid-September.

Geez, I need a beach vacation already.

Later daze (and confusion).................

PooR thing. You gotta get rest. I hope it settles down for you :)

Thom: I grab rest when I can. Then when I think I'm going to bed early, I get struck by creative waves and starting working on the book. Ugh.

I hope you can find some balance very soon. I can relate to how you feel though. When I was working I felt this way often.

Have a terrific day. :)

It's only the second week over here, but it seems a lot longer. It doesn't help that it takes almost an hour for the kids to get home via the bus because the school is a little disorganized. On the first day, the teacher almost put our 5-year old on the wrong bus. Luckily, one of the other kids noticed she was getting on the wrong bus and told the teacher.

Maybe you need one of those mental breaks too, you know when you go away for a day spa and leave the kids with hubby?

I can empathize. I just finished several projects at work and now I feel mentally exhausted. Will have a week's vaca in October. Can't wait.

Hate to hear you're so exhausted... hope you get a chance to slow down and rest and take care of yourself. Hoorah on the novel though, that's wonderful news!!!

The tourists have left the beaches...our weather is high 90's...with cool evenings and mornings.

Your husband can tour/interview at Google, Intel, Oracle, et cetera, et cetera, ad nausea.

come visit.
